Shining Hope became one of the donors, who supported field NGOs and local communities throughout the world. The Fund helped to enable the NGOs to keep essential members of their teams, provide rapid assistance to their most vulnerable beneficiaries, set up coronavirus prevention campaigns, and provide protective equipment for the field teams. The total number of beneficiaries reached was 46,721 people – 46,503 beneficiaries and 218 employees of 20 NGOs based in Brazil, Colombia, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania, Cambodia, India, Laos, Philippines, Vietnam, and Lebanon.

Additionally, Shining Hope and CamerLux Luxembourg financed supplying field refrigerators to Covid-19 hospitals in African countries affected by this health crisis.
