Home Alice Project
Currently, more than a thousand students of different ages are receiving the Alice Project training in India in three schools in Sarnath (Uttar Pradesh), Bodhgaya (Bihar), and Bodhisatta Deban Village (Arunachal Pradesh). From primary to secondary school, the Alice Project Universal Education School has formed an innovative programme that focuses not only on children’s education but also on developing their rational, emotional, and intuitive intelligence.
Inspired by the neuroscience, transpersonal psychology, and the various spiritualities of the world, the Alice Project pedagogy invites students to discover the different dimensions of the human being as a complement to the classical school curriculum. The children learn how their minds, thoughts, and emotions work and thus develop self-knowledge, a guarantee of freedom and happiness.
The methodology has been recognised by the Indian government for more than 20 years, under the high patronage of the Dalai Lama. The Alice Project Universal Education School has been awarded three times (in 2015, 2009, and 2018) for its outstanding work in the field of education.
Since 2015, the Shining Hope Foundation has been committed to supporting and funding the Alice Project by helping the schools and their 1,500 students, improving the infrastructure, covering construction costs of new buildings, supplies, technical equipment, and financing teaching costs.
